MINISTRIES @ GHOW

Acts as visible presence of GHOW leaders on Sunday mornings and at other events to guide visitors to parking, greet people as they arrive, distribute bulletins, direct people to the nursery, and help guests find seats. Other roles include answering questions or directing people to the right source for answers.  

  Provides refreshments during our fellowship time following worship and assists with special events. There is always a need for more people who are willing to bring refreshments and help with set up and clean up. If you have gift for cooking, baking, or serving others, please share them with us though the hospitality team.  

We all have something to offer. No man wants to feel like what he say or do doesn’t count. We will allow members to give their testimony or discuss issues they have been through. We will get things off our chests that’s bothering us. This will open a discussion to issues men deal with. This allows them to open up about who they are and allow others to know what they’re thinking and feeling.  

  To lead a time of worship and learning where children can discover God. Your ministry responsibilities include playing with the child or directing his/her play, reading to him/her, praying for each child, exhibiting Christ-like patience and love, and relating the events of the day to the lesson and theme in words the child can understand. You will ensure a safe, secure, nurturing, clean and efficient care to our children.   

 A ministry in which we stand firm on the word of God aligning mind body and soul in accordance to the will of God. Instilling and walking with the virtues of a Proverbs 31 woman our mission is to do the works of God and radiate His love and His light to all that behold. L.I.G.H.T. is a true sisterhood that encourages one another, stands in the gap against strongholds, loves, laughs, prays together, and ultimately lifts one another up. Promoting positivity and togetherness these ladies diligently seek the plan of the designer while living with dignity and serenity. Through steadfast commitment the Ladies of L.I.G.H.T. exhibit undying faith and hope in who God is, the purpose that he created each of us for, and how we individually and united can better His kingdom 

 Empowering and preparing G.H.O.W. youth to not only be positive examples for following Christ in the world, but also to instill the responsibility of accountability and leadership for themselves as well as their Brothers and Sisters in Christ. Our goal is to direct them in a manner that is consistent in the way that God would have them to conduct themselves on a daily basis and help them to see the importance of not being conformed to this world. We are set apart, special, unique in design and imperative to God’s kingdom. This group is also designed to help them to key in on creating a close personal relationship with God so that they can learn to search for their identity in Christ and begin to take steps down the path that He leads them.
